Strict access standards define document and user level access in DMSLite without making the user management complicated. 

Any user who does not have even the visitor level access to a file or folder will not be shown that file or folder on login. This ensures that high security documents are absolutely off limits to general members.

Any user’s rights are ascertained using his login information. When the user logs in the application looks up his access rights and accordingly his home page is displayed only with areas where he has visitor or higher rights

User profiles are broadly divided into 3 main types: visitor, member and owner. While an owner has complete rights over the files or folders he owns, a visitor can only view them and had no modification rights. A member meanwhile has restricted rights.
