File Restore
The administrator of DMSLite has complete control over restoring the data deleted in the document management system. This means that any files or folders that may be deleted accidently can be restored by the administrator. No data is ever lost in the organization using this fail safe system.
The restored file will possess the same access properties that it had before it was deleted.
Version management is another tool that lets the user restore a file to its previous state to prevent data loss. The software allows the users to decide how many previous versions of the files are needed in the system. The system will automatically preserve that many versions of the files. Any of these older versions can be set as the default version.
DMSLite possesses a recycle bin which is a temporary place where all the files are stored before deletion.
