The entire DMSLite application contents can be viewed in a unified tree view by the application users. Similar to the windows tree view it is a useful content viewing format for all users.

A tree view left panel exists in the application at all times which displays all the contents arranged in folders and sub folders.

The folders and subfolders contain all the files of the system. To make the browsing easier, folder contents are displayed on the right panel on the screen. This means when a user selects a folder on the tree, its files and sub folders start displaying on the screen right panel.

To manage and arrange files and folders users can drag and drop files and folders from the right panel to the tree displayed on the left panel. Drag and drop is also permitted amongst the contents of the tree in the left panel.

Several options are provided to the user to perform operations on the folder contents. The operations include file/folder copy, move, zip archive, rename etc. User can do perform these actions on single or multiple items by selecting them on the right panel.

Users can sort and filter the items displayed in the right panel of the application. These operations can be performed on based on various criterion like File name, type, size etc. 

A dedicated search facility is provided for searching in a specific folder. The search is performed in real time which means that the results are displayed as the user types. User can select how many results he wants to see in a single page

The items displayed in the content tree as well as the right panel are restricted by the rights of the accessing user. Items that user does not have access to are completely hidden from the user.
