DMSLite is built to keep the users constantly aware of all that is happening in the system especially the matters that concern them. This saves the time wasted in occasional slip-ups and communication gaps between the various collaborators. It also helps save unnecessary communication and its related costs.
Every time a new document is uploaded, a special icon is generated next to it for 2 days. New documents can be easily spotted by other users using this notification
All the locked documents are highlighted for the user to understand that the document is off limits for editing
Set notification alerts every time any task is performed on the selected file of interest. A notification message appears on the user dashboard that details the type of activity and the user who has performed it.
Users might forget to unlock the documents they have locked which may cause inconvenience to other users who may want to access these files. To prevent this from happening, users are notified on their dashboard that there are some files they need to unlock.
Based on access privileges, high level users are shown the activity in the folders owned by them. They can immediately know which user has uploaded, downloaded, modified or moved files in the folder.
