DMSLite gives freedom to Document management users to manage virtually file type. This is very helpful for organizations that use multiple custom file extensions that are proprietary to various software providers.
Accommodating a new file type is a simple process and can be managed using the Define file extension setting. Enter the name of the file extension and upload the appropriate file logo to define the file extension.
This information is stored in the application and the system starts recognizing the new file extension every time it is uploaded to the system. The appropriate logo is displayed next to the file in the listings. In case no file logo is added to the extension, a default application logo is displayed.
The file extension information can be edited or deleted at any time.
